Our physio and Bristol Manager Leanne reveals how a tailored treatment plan is essential for the successful treatment of sciatica. “I have sciatica. I know I have because I have the same symptoms that my brother-in-law had last year…” This statement usually fills physiotherapists with apprehension as the term ‘sciatica’ is fast becoming overused. Prity is great with mum, she makes her comfortable and motivates her to push herself, all whilst keeping her smiling. This is very endearing to watch as my mum is going through a lot of depression since her stroke and can sometimes be withdrawn from physio tasks.
I am recovering from a broken leg and couldn't get up the steps outside my flat to go to physio. I knew I had to start doing some exercises but there would have been a wait of a month or more for home physios to come to me. A couple of phone calls later an appointment was made for Leanne to come and see me, and after the first session she taught me and reassured me that I would be able to make it up the steps. The next day I did it without any problems, and now I am attending the physio centre where I love. Altogether I had 2 sessions with Leanne and she certainly started me on the next stage of my recovery. I couldn't praise the organisation or Leanne highly enough, they both had a very big positive impact on my recovery.

Joyce developed an extremely good rapport with Marc and her mobility improvement was rapid and sustainable. Marc kept both of us informed at every stage and I would recommend him without any reservation.
