Our Bristol Manager and physio Leanne Plenge clarifies whether there is actually any truth in the ‘no pain no gain’ cliché, and whether the exercises your physio prescribes should be painful. In the years I have been practicing as a physio I have heard the statement no pain no gain many times. Sometimes from behind […]
In this blog post, our MD Rebecca Garrod reveals how to avoid injuries whilst trail running. Trail Running is a very popular sport but it is linked with a high injury rate with 19-79% of runners sustaining an injury each year (van Gent et al 2012). Injuries often occur from incorrect training and runners pushing […]
What we carry can have a huge effect on our body, and different styles of bags can injure or strain our body in different ways. The amount we put in our bags can also have a huge effect on our bodies and the more we carry, the more stress we put on our body. Common […]
We can all be guilty of adopting poor posture, whether that’s sitting in your office chair, hunched over your laptop, or doing a million and one things whist cradling the phone between your neck and shoulder. I had to wait a few days as I had specifically asked to see Katalin and she was not immediately available but that was not a problem and I was quite happy to wait. She was lovely and took her time explaining everything that I needed to know and do. Although the appointment was specifically to reassure me that I was on the right track, and at the moment I do not need to see her again, I would not hesitate to request another session and would highly recommend both Katalin and Physiocomestoyou.

Grace was lovely - her background was perfect for us and she devised a plan, which was manageable, and exactly the types of exercises to help achieve my son’s goals. She pushed him just to the right level without upsetting him, but making him work at the same time. Exactly what we were looking for!

Lindsey was very professional and helpful, whilst at the same time friendly enough to deal with a teething baby! I am really happy and looking forward to seeing her again in a few weeks.
