Ellie Barton
Chartered Physiotherapist

About Ellie Barton

Ellie is a Neurodevelopmental Therapist – a Chartered Physiotherapist who works solely with children with Cerebral Palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions and needs.  She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007 and has specialised in paediatric physiotherapy since 2008.  Ellie believes in liaising with NHS Teams when working with clients privately, to ensure the children she treats get the most from all of their therapy. She uses a holistic approach, incorporating speech and language communication goals and functional occupational therapy goals. Ellie particularly enjoys working closely with carers and families and delivering hands on therapy. She is recently MAES trained and her practice has also been influenced by her Bobath and Sensory Integration training. Her own experiences with her two children Jack, born prematurely at 34 weeks, and Harry, born at 30 weeks, have also given her a great insight whilst working with families welcoming a baby earlier than expected.  Ellie is an active member of the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists.
