Shoulders are big, powerful joints that are capable of taking a lot pressure and strain. Injure one, however, and you soon realise how difficult life can be when it is out of action. Shoulder injuries can take a long time to heal, something which is further exacerbated by constant use. Which is why shoulder supports are highly recommended by physios.

A shoulder support should cover the shoulder, back and arm area, helping to take the strain ordinarily placed square on the joint. It will support you when moving and prevent any over extension and further damage. As well as standard shoulder supports, you can also get clavicle supports, for people who may have broken collar bones in the past.

A solid wrap or support should allow you to stay active without further damaging your shoulder joint. This will also allow it time to heal, and reduce the need for further costly treatment. If you need help or advice about which shoulder supports to wear, then get in touch to discuss your options.
