The Benefits of Specialist Physio Treatment
Here at Physiocomestoyou we deal with a wide variety of conditions. Our experience tells us that getting specialist treatment is the best way to success. That is why we have specialist Physiotherapists who have a clinical interest and years of experience in their areas of expertise. For example, our Physio and Bristol Manager Leanne Plenge is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with an interest in treating patients with foot and ankle problems. Leanne is a founding member of The Association of Foot and Ankle Physiotherapists (AFAP), a charity which aims to support and bring together physios whose work involves an expertise within the foot and ankle, in order to improve quality of care. Leanne and the team at AFAP have run two incredibly successful conferences to date, and supported other physiotherapists in their research and development.
We also believe that building strong networks of communication between specialists is important. Leanne and her team work closely with The British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society to provide training and share ideas on best practice. This sharing of information and continuous training means we can confidently provide the highest standard of treatment and up to date current knowledge on treatments to help foot and ankle conditions.
This level of specialist treatment extends to all areas of the body and we also have specialist physiotherapists in areas such as Paediatrics and Neurology. If you wish to see one of our specialist physiotherapists get in touch today!
