About Fiona Gilmartin

Fiona is a specialist paediatric physiotherapist who qualified from Coventry University in 2014. After graduating Fiona worked as a rotational physiotherapist, developing her clinical skills and knowledge in the core areas of physiotherapy before specialising in Paediatrics. Fiona is passionate about and dedicated to helping children reach their full potential.
Fiona works as a specialist paediatric physiotherapist at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust within the clinical setting and special schools. Fiona treats children aged 0-18 with a range of conditions including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, hypermobility, musculoskeletal conditions and respiratory disorders. She has a special interest in early years (0-5) including developmental delay and movement disorders.
Fiona is experienced in providing rehabilitation following surgical procedures (e.g botulinum toxin injections, tendon lengthening). She has an interest in hydrotherapy and is confident in creating and implementing water based therapy programmes. Fiona is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists.
