About Marianne Hunwick

Marianne qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2006 from the University of Southampton. Since then she has worked in a number of teaching hospitals and specialist tertiary centres across London gaining a wide variety of clinical experience, and has spent time volunteering to develop physiotherapy services overseas in Bangladesh, Nepal and Central America.
After completing her core clinical rotations at both a junior and senior level, Marianne began specialising in treating patients with neurological conditions in 2012 and has enhanced this training through further sub-specialty experience such as the Bobath Concept, vestibular rehabilitation, spasticity management, use of functional electrical stimulation and using Pilates to help people with neurological impairments achieve their functional goals. She regularly undertakes training courses to update her skills, and is passionate about the importance of recognising her clients’ full potential, helping them realise this through the rehabilitation process.
